Karen’s passion is collaborating with clients and partners to ensure successful business results between international counterparts, leaders and multinational teams. Her holistic approach brings her to focus on the intricacies of how international business and global strategies are implemented.
International Experience
Over the last 25+ years, Karen has had the opportunity to work with clients and partners on global projects in 45+ countries across all continents. She has developed and led multinational teams in Europe, the USA and Asia/Pacific.
Career
Karen has provided facilitation, coaching and consulting services for global clients, including Microsoft, Biogen, NASA, Airbnb, NCAA, Hi Bob, Danfoss, Google, EMC, Ernst & Young, Fidelity, LEGO, L’Oreal, Marriott, Novartis, Oracle and Canon Medical Research, to name a few. Karen is the co-author of several articles and books in the area of Global Leadership and Global Teams, like:
- Evolving Leadership for Collective Wellbeing: Lessons for Implementing the United Nations Sustainability Development Goals. (2017)
- Leading Across New Borders: How to succeed as the center shifts (2015), and
- What is Global Leadership? published in June of 2011.
Education
Karen holds Master’s degree in Training & Organization Development from Lesley University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Business & Human Resources from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Karen is certified on the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and the Hay Group Leadership / Climate Instrument. She has taken course work at the NeuroLeadership Institute and is a certified Executive Coach through Coach Training Institute (CTI).
